Pimp of the Day: Kindled by Unexpected Sparks

I have just spent hours reading the most amazing story.  

If you're a Chlarker (and even if you're not!), you'd do well to check out Kindled by Unexpected Sparks, the smallvillebbang longfic entry by the lovely marikology.  At 80,000 words it's quite a read, but it's sooooo worth it.  It has EVERYTHING.

It's very well-balanced and brilliantly paced, with a mix of adventure, angst, friendship and romance in level proportions.  Both the main and the supporting characters were very, very, very well-written (and by Zod, Lois was AWESOME!)  There are a few shout-outs along the way, and it makes the best use of Season 6 show canon as a base that I've seen in any fic. 

But don't take my word for it.  Mosey on down to Two of Us and have a look for yourself.  I guarantee you won't be disappointed. :-)

Oh, I hope to VERY soon. Finally was able to order my new laptop yesterday, although it might not arrive til Dec 8...
Patience, patience... ah, who am I kidding: I have none!!!

I will have soooooo much reading to catch up on. Won't even talk about all the hand-written writing I have to enter.
