14/10/09 ETA: After I posted this chapter, I kept thinking that I'd missed something, and this morning it finally hit me - Chlark didn't bring up the issue of birth control.  Now I know I usually gloss over that aspect in most of my stories (naughty Dee!) unless, like in Wounded Heart, lack of birth control is a solid part of the plot.  However, it occurred to me that it would be a bit of an issue here since at this point Chloe doesn't know Clark's secret, and they should be worried about consequences.  So there's an extra 500 or so words added in below just straightening that out.
