Synopsis: As part of their investigation into a Metropolis-based drug-smuggling ring, Chloe and Clark go undercover as a young, party-loving couple who frequent a popular club. But when feigned sexual interest leads to a genuine intimate encounter, emotional conflict ensues. Trust is tested, and allegiances to existing romantic relationships are questioned. Our dynamic duo must save the day without letting their burgeoning feelings for each other interfere with the very important job at hand; but like everything else with Chloe and Clark, this is far easier said than done. Set in Season 7, after Persona

To my delightful artists purple_moon123 and go_clo, I have nothing but praise and heaps of thanks for letting me grace my story with your handiwork. The initial inspiration for the story stemmed from Rocio’s brilliant black and white banner (those facial expressions said it all!), and a significant amount of story content was inspired by both go_clo’s vibrant red-themed manip and mrs_roy’s prompt for a story earlier in the year, in which she wanted Chlark to enjoy a clandestine relationship.
Last but not least, a world of thanks to twinsarein for organising this wonderful fandom writing project once again. It’s a pleasure to be able to take part, and I hope I speak for us all when I say we greatly appreciate everything you’ve done to make this year’s SVBB a success.
