When I started writing fanfic, I never thought it'd mean much to anyone but me. So it filled me with glee whenever I got a positive comment on a story, which turned out to be pretty often. To be nominated for SIX Chlollie Awards, and to record wins in FOUR of them is the most squeeworthy thing that has happened to me in a long, long time. :-)

Considering the way I squeed and flailed when I saw all that I'd won, I thought I might as well go the whole hog and write up a fat-ass acceptance speech to go with the squailing/ So here goes! *pulls out ~~notebook~~ thank-you notes & balances glasses on nose*

I'd have happily taken one 3rd Place win and nothing else, and been completely over the moon, honestly. But to win something in all the four categories in which I was nominated is utterly fantastic, especially considering all the brilliant stories I was up against. I read most of them, and thought I didn't stand a chance of winning anything!

Even if I hadn't placed in the Top Three, the Nomination Banners you so painstakingly made for each and every entry are more than enough to make me feel like a winner. You've definitely put a spring in my step since the first graphic of yours I ever saw, and when you let me have the Misdirection Banner, I knew I had a friend for life. :-)

To everyone who cast a vote...wow. If I could reach into the internet and give each of you a sloppy kiss, I would. I am so humbled by the awesome reception I've received since my first Chlollie story, and that has only warmed and increased over time. For me to cart home four awards is proof that what I'm writing puts smiles on all your faces, and makes the long hours of writing and the sleepless nights of editing so. totally. worth it. I can't thank you enough. But thanks again. And again. And again, and again...! :-)

And speaking of the first fanfic I ever wrote brings me to...

laurelnola . What can I say? You were way ahead of any of us in the Chlollie game, and if not for your awesome portrayal of Chloe and Oliver in all your fantastic stories, I'd never have jumped on the Chlollie train in the first place. Thank you Dawnie, x1,000,000, and I love you in all your awesomeness. TACKLEHUUUUUUUUUUGGGGS!!!!! *charges you and knocks the wind out of you Looney Toons-style!*

Last but not least, profound thanks to the gorgeous Justin Hartley and the lovely Allison Mack, who have brought such wonderful characters to life and given us something to smile about in a show that has frustrated - and continues to frustrate - so many of us. If not for you, there wouldn't be any Chlollie Awards. You are both greatly skilled at what you do, and you both deserve to be rewarded handsomely for it. You'll probably never read this, but thank you both; a LOT. *bows*

There will be tons more Chlollie stories from me, never fear. And the Funsies/Realsies/Linesies series has only just begun. There is definitely more to come, believe me!

***ETA: In typical awards fashion, I completely forgot to thank the Dear Hubby, who spent many a night with just a blanket for company whilst I sat typing away a a computer at 3am because that was the moment inspiration had struck. Honey? I love you. If I say more, this post will become X-rated, so I'll see you later, yah? ;-)
