The major destruction of the city (which could have been avoided, at least in part) and the complete lack of any reaction from Supes (who didn indeed cause a lot of the damage) were my main issues with this movie.

I kept telling myself they must have evacuated large parts of the city but the logistics are unfathomable. I had real trouble blithely accepting the light ending in the wake of the utter devastation left behind. Didn't we see a building fall on most of the staffers fleeing the Daily Planet? At the very least there should have been some deflated balloons, flowers still in their plastic wrap and assorted stuffed animals left near the entrance of the DP to make it more believable.
