Ha! I love it. And I love that my equivalent would be three french hens. One, because I'm more french than anything else in my ancestry (I mean, I'm from New Orleans, what do you expect?). And two, because my life's ambition is to have hens of my own, preferably three! That's because I use a lot of eggs in quiches, bread pudding, creme brulee (I did mention I was french, right?) and I figure three hens will be enough to keep the whole family in fresh eggs until kingdom come. So see, you were spot on in your song, and you didn't even know it! :-D
