My heart was aching for both of them; Martha for the sadness she faces knowing Clark had done something so horrible and Chloe for wanting so much even the tiniest of reasons to believe that the Clark she knows could not commit such a terrible crime against her.
Once she knows the whole truth will understanding the reasons why ever be enough to help her forgive him or for herself to heal?
