Wow, that's so sad but I sort of understand why they can't compel it because that would be aweful. But that is so sad for him and the baby. Reminds me of an episode of the Good Wife where they couldn't force the surrogate mother to abort even though it wasn't her baby because the body it was in was hers even though she had promised to abort in that circumstance.
